On Sunday, December 8, 2013, AHS celebrated the collective impact of corporate, group, and individual commitment to Arlington’s affordable housing. The focus of the award ceremony was on the efforts to retain affordable housing in the Columbia Pike corridor. Honorees spoke about the behind the scenes work required to preserve housing in the Pike – citing long hours, countless conversations with people open to change, and the commitment of the community.
